Large Family Garden

Earley, Reading

This larger project required a full design and build. The brief from the client was to have a lager patio area with enough space to comfortably fit a large table and chairs to entertain.

The smaller Balau decking was to be used for somewhere to relax and take advantage of the sunny position.

The larger Balau decking area was to in time have an aluminium pergola for evening entertainment. The boundaries of the garden finished with Western Red Cedar slats.

The planting areas were all prepared ready for the client to complete their own planting scheme. We also incorporated lighting in the planting areas and on the cedar fencing.

For this project, the brief was to make better use of an area of the garden that had previously been neglected. A straightforward project using mixed buff sandstone paving and incorporating some timber posts ready for client to construct a small screen to hide an existing oil tank.

Medium Family Garden

Basingstoke

The brief from this client was to make the garden more useable and more child friendly. This involved the removal of approximately 30+ tons of soil and old patio. The client went for a porcelain patio with the addition of a raised beds on one boundary owing to the neighbouring garden levels.

We included an additional smaller patio area to utilise the more shaded area of the garden and a raised seating area ready for the client to finish with their own cushions.

The remaining area was finished with a 38mm artificial grass so the garden can be enjoyed all year.

This client had just had a large extension completed on their property. Their brief was for a large patio area capable of accommodating a large dining table and chairs with plenty of additional room for the children to also play on it.

The retaining walls were all finished with K-Rend and made ready for the client to complete their own planting scheme.

This project was a complete redesign of a new build garden, which was basically a blank canvas. With the client having some ideas already in mind and after a period of consultation we produced a selection of designs to choose within their budget.

The chosen design was to include the garden boundaries refreshed with a cedar slat fence to give a more modern and cleaner backdrop. This was complemented with a mix of composite decking areas and porcelain paving.

The smaller decking area incorporated a treated timber pergola. The garden design includes various lights throughout the garden with a low maintenance planting scheme to soften the hard landscaping.

The brief from this client was to replace their old and uneven patio areas. The existing retaining walls had reached the end of their life, so these were rebuilt using a natural stone finish to complement the Raj sandstone paving option they had decided on.

This project had many areas that the client wanted to cover. After having a large building project completed and still having a large garden, there was plenty of room to fit in all the options they had in their brief. After consulting with them on site, several design ideas were put forward.

The chosen design encompassed a large patio area using porcelain with room for a seating area with a fire table. The large patio area was complimented with raised beds finished with porcelain cladding.

Within the project was a seating area which was to include an aluminium pergola and outdoor kitchen, these were installed by an additional contactor.

With such a large plot there was room for the installation of a playground area with a sunken trampoline and climbing frame etc.
